Liewen a Léieren

Why Liewen a Léieren?
Our conviction is simple: a better understanding of the realities experienced by children and families is an essential condition for developing sustainable solutions adapted to society's needs.
Our Story
Today, Liewen a Léieren is fully integrated within a non-profit organization and continues to develop within a structured, independent and collaborative framework.
Our Observation
Rather, it reflects the growing complexity of modern life journeys and the need to strengthen connections between different sectors and areas of intervention.
Our Vision
We seek to promote a culture based on listening, cooperation, prevention and a deeper understanding of the real needs of the population.
Our Mission
Liewen a Léieren pursues five complementary missions:
- Inform by facilitating access to clear and useful information for families.
- Connect by encouraging exchanges between citizens, professionals, associations and institutions.
- Listen by giving a voice to lived experiences and realities from the field.
- Understand by identifying emerging needs, recurring challenges and good practices.
- Contribute by supporting collective reflection aimed at the continuous improvement of existing systems and services.
Our Approach
- Liewen a Léieren promotes a constructive, collaborative and independent approach.
The project is built upon several fundamental principles: - respect for individuals;
- the best interests of the child;
- inclusion;
- political neutrality;
- cooperation;
- civic participation;
- solution-oriented thinking.
We do not position ourselves as an opposition movement.
Our role is to encourage dialogue, highlight realities observed on the ground and contribute to a better circulation of information, knowledge and experience.
Our Activities
To achieve these objectives, we are progressively developing a variety of initiatives, including:
- podcasts and interviews;
- conferences and citizen dialogue events;
- awareness-raising initiatives;
- information and guidance resources;
- stakeholder networking;
- observation of field realities;
- promotion of good practices;
- development of partnerships.
Our Long-Term Ambition
- In the long term, Liewen a Léieren aims to contribute to the development of a citizen observatory dedicated to the realities experienced by children and families in Luxembourg.
- This approach seeks to improve the understanding of emerging needs, encourage knowledge sharing and support the reflections of associations, researchers, institutions and public decision-makers.
- Our objective is not to produce criticism, but to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of realities on the ground and to encourage responses that are increasingly adapted to the needs of citizens.
